Bomber Blueprints Update

I decided the layout of the Bomber Blueprints DA Journal wasn't as cool as it could be, so I revamped the layout and design of the page. Now the Robot Masters are shown in metal frames (Mega Man 3 style) in the order they are shown in their respective Stage Select screens.

It was pretty hilarious setting it up. I used Wood Man's frame as a placeholder while I put in all the links and whatnot. I thought to myself, that would be a pretty easy game... All 8 bosses Wood Man? HA

This also leaves me with a spot in the middle of each set of 8 for an extra picture. I will most likely set each one to an appropriate character. Here's what i'm thinking:

1 Mega Man
2 Dr. Light
3 Roll
4 Dr. Cossack
5 Protoman
6 Dr. Wily
7 Auto
8 Duo
9 Megaman (newer pic)

I've also gotten some new drawings of bosses...ones of the MegaMan 9 variety!

Even Mega-er Monday Night

Okay, so from start to finish Mega Man took around 2 hours once I got him into photoshop. Prep time was probably 10-15 minutes tightening the sketch and pre-shading it.

I was recording the whole process at the time, and would probably have been faster if I hadn't been recording and if i'd used any of my Photoshop Actions, but i'm extremely pleased with the way it turned out.  Dedicated to my special someone. <3

Mega Monday

Hey hey, got to really workin on some Mega Man bosses last night.
Kinda sorta planning how I want the effects/shading/lighting to go as i'm laying all the flats. FUN

As with all the Bomber Blueprints, there will be no outlines in the finished pieces.

Gemini Man! Now this dude's gonna be AAAAWWesome when i'm done. SHINY SHINY. Always liked this guy. Mega Man 3 = love.

Little ol' Ice Man is a chilly parka-bot. Don't sit too close to Elec Man or he'll melt your face off...

Ring Man in da houze. He'll have quite a bit of shine to those rings, but the rest of him will have a slightly matte finish to the metal so the rings seem even shinier.

Gawd, his color scheme is even more schizo than Napalm Man's... Still working on it. You can see where I haven't gotten his neck or collar thing done yet.

I'll post more when I get them flatted/finished. :)

Update Tiemz!!

Been kinda slow on the art lately, but here's an update.


Working on another one of Dapper Dan's Bomber Blueprints pics. This one's obviously Bomb Man. I'm thinking I may do several bosses up to the flats before I start shading them, giving me a chunk to work on instead of starting fresh with each one. We'll see. I'm liking how he's coming out.


This is coming along nicely as well. Still needs more.
